Get Involved
There are many exciting ways to get involved in FoodCorps!

Get out and Garden!
In recognition of Global Youth Service Day (April 20-22) and National Volunteer Week (April 15 - 21), FoodCorps' 50 service members gathered together with local DC volunteers to build and plant in several area schools. In doing so we not only helped get these schools launched for their upcoming growing seasons, but we hoped to call attention to the importance of service, and inspire others around the country to do the same.
We invite you to get out and garden alongside FoodCorps this spring! Plant a school or community garden—or one in your own backyard. Then upload photos of you or your neighbors getting out and gardening to our to our Facebook page.
