FoodCorps Podcast: Chef Jose Andres

Lacing the discussion with history and culture, José tasks service members with being a "Trojan horse" - convincing students and others of the good of their work, without them realizing they are being convinced.

This month, FoodCorps' podcast features a conversation between Chef José Andrés and FoodCorps service members Catherine, Stephanie, Corbin, Erin, and Celeste.

Lacing the discussion with history and culture, José tasks service members with being a "Trojan horse" - convincing students and others of the good of their work, without them realizing they are being convinced. At the end, José wisely reminds service members that, "We need to bring everyone to the table...everyone wants to do good. We need to be smart...we need everyone to be part of the solution. It isn't going to happen without the help of everyone. So, for me, success will be when - 5, 10, 20 years from now - you retire FoodCorps."
