Local organizations know their communities best. So instead of a cookie-cutter approach to improving school food, FoodCorps teams up with partner organizations that direct our Service Members in the field.

Host Sites: Our State-Level Partners

  • Direct the FoodCorps program across their whole state, usually through a network of Service Sites
  • Collaborate with the national office on recruiting and selecting Service Members
  • Share responsibility for evaluation and accountability
  • Are high-capacity nonprofit organizations, agencies or institutions of higher education
  • Are chosen by FoodCorps

    Service Sites: Our Community-Level Partners

    • Are grassroots nonprofits, public schools or districts, and community-based organizations
    • Are chosen by the Host Site in their state
