First Lady Michelle Obama, a group of FoodCorps founders and service members, and children from D.C. public schools came together to help plant the White House Kitchen Garden on April 2nd.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (RFD-TV) As farmers across the country beginning their planting season, another special garden was going into the ground.
First lady Michelle Obama hosted school children and FoodCorps volunteers at the 6th Annual White House Garden Planting.
Food grown in the garden will be served to the president and first family, as well as visiting dignitaries.
