If you look around Northern Michigan, there’s no shortage of apple trees. Along with all the wonderful orchards we have here, apple trees also dot peoples yards, the sides of roads and in fields.
So what to do with all this fruit?
“Today we are doing the ‘seasons of apple trees’ so the kids are learning about seasons. They’ve been observing trees in the back yard and seeing how they are changing. They are learning about the world around them, so we’re learning about how apples are in season right now.”
