Policy Landscape and Our Work
New Hampshire has not passed universal school meals for all legislation. While there have been efforts and some bipartisan support for expanding access to school meals, particularly for low-income families, a fully implemented school meals for all program has not been enacted. Most recently, HB 665, which sought to raise the income threshold for free school meals to 300% of the federal poverty level, was retained in committee and will not move forward in the 2025 legislative session.
