Policy Landscape and Our Work

The Universal School Meals Amendment Act of 2025, B26-0108, would provide meals and snacks at no charge to students in District public schools, public charter schools, and participating private schools. The bill was introduced in January 2025 and remains referred to the Committee of the Whole; it has not received a hearing or vote.
