Policy Landscape and Our Work

Georgia does not have an active School Meals for All bill. HB 60, the Healthy Start Act, would have eliminated meal charges for students who qualify for reduced-price meals and encouraged broader use of the Community Eligibility Provision, but it did not pass during the 2025–26 session.
