Policy Landscape and Our Work
West Virginia has made some strides in ensuring all students have access to nutritious school meals through initiatives like the “Feed to Achieve” Act and CEP. The Feed to Achieve Act requires all public schools to implement innovative breakfast and lunch delivery systems to ensure students have access to at least two nutritious meals daily, but it does not mandate that all meals be free for all students.
