Even in our polarized nation, policies to improve school food have earned bipartisan support. We work with legislative champions from both sides of the aisle for local food sourcing, school kitchen modernization, universal school meals, and other initiatives that contribute to stronger school food systems.

The bipartisan Scratch Cooked Meals for Students Act (H.R. 8928 / S. 4599) would create a national grant program through the U.S. Department of Agriculture to help schools prepare more meals from scratch.
