How to Make Friends With a Carrot is a children’s book meant to support FoodCorps members (and others!) in navigating conversations about body positivity and celebrating all different types of bodies.
This book was written by Marina Belotserkovskaya, Kencho Gurung, Stephanie Muldrew, and Kacie Schrum, FoodCorps AmeriCorps service members who served during the 2020–2021 school year, and was inspired by the FoodCorps Service Member Action Committee (SMAC). The book was illustrated by Ade Cruz and designed by Annabelle Pang.
