FoodCorps Receives Donation from MacKenzie Scott

Today, MacKenzie Scott announced her next round of donations and we are proud to say that FoodCorps has been selected as a recipient. We are incredibly grateful for her generous donation and feel that this is a strong testament to the extraordinary work of our service members, alumni, and staff. 

We are also inspired by her generosity to so many organizations across this country.  Her approach to trust based, no-strings attached giving is modeling a bold, non-traditional, and more equitable type of philanthropy.  

We will be spending the next months determining how best to utilize this donation towards maximum impact for the kids and communities that we serve with a continued emphasis on advancing equity and ensuring all kids have access to food education and nourishing food in school. We are so grateful for her support.
